    *Stop put yourself down.

*You'll be fine. -Who's he? -My brother, Jack.

- 오빠, Jack이야.

    *He's got a girlfriend.

( have/has got : 소유를 나타내는 'have'와 같은 의미로 영국영어에서 많이 쓰입니다.)

*And that must be your sister.

    (must : 강한 추측)

*Actually I was gonna say she's very much like you.

    (was/were going to : ~ 하려고 했다.)

*Joking. Won't be doing that one again.

*Come on! Eat up so we can test each other.

(eat up : to eat all of sth)

    *Diet pills. Are you mad?

*I guess you've been with loads of men.

    *What's your point?

*How do you, I dunno, get the one you want? -This is about your mystery lover?

*The key is to let them do the talking. Just Listen. Look deep into their eyes. Maybe open your mouth just a bit like you're thinking.

*You're kidding. -No, seriously, it works everytime.

*You don't actually say it, you just think it.

ex) You switch the power on and just press the button.

*You think that's funny, do you?

*I just came to make sure you're ok.

(make sure : to do sth in order to be certain that sth else happens)

    *Hi there? I'm

-Hi there/ Hello there처럼 뒤에 ‘there'가 오는 것은 영국영어의 특징이죠 ^-^

*Why don't you join us? -What a good idea!

*Oh~ how old do you think I am?

*But I do really want the job. It's the first thing I've done this - make me feel grown up.

    *I've changed my mind.

*But we had a deal. -No, now we don't.

*Oh Jesus! -They won't find out as long as you keep your mouth shut.

(as long as : if와 같은 가정법입니다.)

(keep your mouth shut : to not talk about sth to sb because it is a secret or because it will upset or annoy them)

(catch up : to reach sb who is ahead by going faster)
